
Suunny UPS pure sine wave inverter

This product adoptted PIC technology to control the pure sine wave output, stable output voltage, accurate output frequency, super discharge waveform, THD( Total Harmonic Distortion) ≤5%, including UPS function and battery charger function.
1. UPS Function: Connect the inverter into your electric power system according to this user’s manual. The inverter could start and invert DC to AC from the battery to maintain a continuous supply of electric power when utility power is not available. So that your electric appliance continuous normal working.
2. Battery Charger Function: This inverter could invert AC to DC to charge the battery from utility power. It could regulate the charge current depending on the voltage of the battery, the lifetime of the battery could be prolonged. More over it is also provide with floating charge function, So that the battery will be always kept in full condition for urgent need when the utility power is not available.
3. Low Battery shut down protection: When the utility power is not available, continuous use inverter to offer power for your electric appliance could cause the voltage of the battery get down serious, it will be enormously affect the lifetime of the battery. This inverter could start protect function when the voltage of the battery get down the setted point, (Refer Item 6) protected the battery from overdischarge damage.
4. DC Input Overvoltage Protection: The normal input voltage of the inverter is 12V. If the input voltage more than the point which we setted.(Refer Item 6) The inverter will start overvoltage input protection in order to avoid damaging the inverter by overvoltage input.
5. Soft-start System protection: High startup currents from large inductive loads could shut down the inverter, it will affect the lifetime of the inverter. We suggest you use our Soft Start function: The inverter stay in close condition, connect the load to the inverter, and open the power switch of the large loads firstly, then start the inverter to offer power for your loads. At the beignning the output voltage of the inverter is very small, there is not large surge current affect the inverter, after period of timethe output voltage will reach to rated output voltage.
6. Output Overload Protection: This inverter have rated power.(Refer Item6) If the power of the load more than rated power of the inverter, the inverter will start overloading protection in order to avoid damaging the products. (Refer details at Item 5)
7. Short Circuit Shutdown Protection: This inverter provide with multiple protected circuits to prevent short circuit happens from AC output. It is decrease inverter’s damage by short circuit. (Users should avoid short circuit as little as possible, even if we have this protection.)
8. Fault Sound and Light Alarm Function: When the inverter auto detect the fault, it will indicate users in sound and light form. It is very convenient for uses to handle simple fault.
Operation
Please read this manual’s security item carefully before you install this inverter. Please confirm you are fully understand security items, then install the inverter as follows:
1. To be ready the tools (such as spanner) and relative parts (such as battery cables), check if the position of the inverter is depending on the security request..
2. Check the voltage of the battery is in right scope.(Refer detail in Item 6), confirm the plus + (red) and minus –(black) of the battery and DC input terminal of the inverter plus + (red) and minus – (black) correctly. (Refer details about Face Plate Explanation in Item4)
3. Close the battery breaker, DC input breaker, AC output breaker, turn off the power switch of the inverter, disconnect the gird power plug.
4. Connect the plus terminal (red) of the battery to DC input plus terminal (red) of the inverter with red cable firmly and correctly; Connect the minus terminal (black) of the battery to DC input minus terminal (black) of the inverter with black cable firmly and correctly. Please attention: The DC input +/- poles of the inverter is very near, please take care during connection. Please don’t cause short circuit with spanner. Please check all connection is firm and tight in order to avoid part of cale overheat or fire.
5. Connect the load to the AC output receptacle, ( the load power should be less than rated output power of the inverter) Plug one terminal of the AC Input cable into receptacle of the inverter,(detail position please refer Item4), Plug the other terminal of the AC input cable to the power plant. (If there is no grid power, you can also don’t connect to the grid power, but please keep the AC input cable carefully, avoid get an electric shock.
6. Open the battery breaker, open the DC input breaker, turn on the power switch of the inverter. At this time there is only one indicator “ON BAT” bright, 3 seconds later there is AC output voltage from the inverter. Open the AC output breaker to offer power for your loads. If there is gird power and the inverter connected with grid power, the inverter will automatically exchange to main power supply several minutes later. (Indicator “ON LINE” is bright, Indicator “ON BATTERY” shut ), at the same time the inverter charge your battery. If turn on the inverter no ourput, several indicators are birght, please refer to Item5.
7. If you would like to use soft start function, please shut down the power switch and the AC output breaker of the inverter , and open the load switch firstly, then start the inverter. The Soft Start function fit for inductive loads.
